Florence, SC – Marvin William Callahan, 83, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mr. Callahan was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, the son of the late Henry and Emma Fisher Callahan.  Before retiring he worked at General Electric Company as a Computer Analyst.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Nancy Gray Callahan; two daughters, Diane (Lonnie Lee) Weaver, Kim Callahan; brother, Samuel (Mary Ann) Callahan; grandchildren, Landon (Tara) Watford, Christi (Matt) Rodriguez, Whitney Port, Joey Port, Maura Callahan, Ashley Port and a number of great-grandchildren; his special canine companions, "Sandee" and "Layla  He is preceded in death by a daughter, Donna C. Port and sister, Barbara Ford.
