Florence, SC – Thomas "Marty" McElveen, 50, passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Palmetto Street Church of God, Florence.   Burial will follow at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Timmonsville. Marty was born in Darlington County, the son of Patricia Langston Jansson and the late Thomas Woodrow McElveen.   He was a foreman with a local Truss Shop.  He attended Palmetto Street Church of God. Surviving are a daughter, Jessica S. McElveen; brothers, Joe (Kerry) McElveen, Michael R.
