Lamar, SC- Marti Freeman Manson, 51, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 after an illness.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Lamar United Methodist Church, Lamar, SC. Burial will follow in the Lamar Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. before the service at the church. The family will be at 849 Lee State Park Road, Lamar at other times.

Born in Florence County, she was the daughter, Lester and Nyoka Hendricks Freeman. Marti was an avid Clemson Tiger Fan and she enjoyed baiting her hook and trying to catch the big fish.

Marti is survived by the love of her life David Manson; two daughters, Danielle (Brandon) Mendiola, Le Ann (Trey) Tisdale; two grandchildren, Gabby and Braydon Mendiola; two step-grandchildren, Kyrstin Mendiola and Jessica Tisdale; sister, Christa Allen; two nephews, Christopher and Alex Allen.
