Florence- Martha Ann Odom Lane,81,died in the McLeod Hospice House on Sunday, December 13, 2015.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Lamar. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lane was born in Darlington County, the daughter of the late Henry Walter and Ethel Lucille Sansbury Odom. She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Martha was a bookkeeper for Layton-Anderson Funeral for several years, she worked in department stores in Timmonsville and was the attendant at the Dry Cleaning store for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Lane.

Surviving are her children, Mike Lane, Cindy Lane, Kim Lane and Debra Lane Welch all of Florence, six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ed Behling,Dr Michael Pavy,the staff of the Hospice House and her special hospice nurse, Dorie Sturgill for the care given to their mother during her Illness.
