Hartsville, SC – Mark H. Ward, 66, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

A Memorial Service will be Friday, June 5, 2020 at 2:00 on the Front Porch at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  We are asking that everyone continue to observe social distance at this time.

Mr. Ward was born in Florence County, the son of the late Jesse and Cornelia Brunson Ward.  He worked for Carolina Asbestos Removers.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors and fishing was his hobby.

Surviving are his wife Vickie Ford Ward; son, Brian (Charlotte) Ward; daughter, Kristy Ward; brothers, Richard (Pam) Ward, Donald (Janet) Ward, Randy (Sandy) Ward, Robert Ward; sister, Mary Ann Floyd and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by brothers, Jackie Ward, Walter Ward, Billy Ward, George Ward, Danny Reid Ward and sister, Meredith Martin.
