Florence - Mark Stephen Olsen, 54, died suddenly on Nov.19, 2017 at his residence.

Mark was born in Pendleton, Oregon, the son of Robert and Gail Smith Olsen. He was an officer with the Florence County Environmental Department.

Surviving are his wife Jacqueline Morris Olsen, Timmonsville; a daughter, Anne Marie Olsen, Timmonsville; two step-sons, Nykolaus Ladage, Christopher Ladage, Oregon and one grandchild, Charlie Lucas Ladage.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 W. Palmetto Street, Florence, SC.
