Marjorie "Laney" Forde Rush, 74, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Florence SC, she was the daughter of the late William Leonard Forde and the late Sarah Frances Caulder Forde.

She loved flowers and was a florist for many years. She adored her grandchildren and will be missed dearly.

Surviving are her children, Lloyd Scott Gaymon (Robin), Kimberly Gaymon Campbell (Kelvin), Brandon Elaine Gaymon; sister, Vickie Ward; grandchildren, Kaleb, Alyssa, Alston, Sarah Gracie, Gabrielle, Tristen, Isabella, Conlee, Talyn; great-grandchildren, Raelynn, Hollis, Amelia, Elouise.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bethany Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
