Florence, SC – Marion George Broach, Sr., 91, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 after an Illness.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Dec 16, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville, SC.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning  at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service  at the funeral home.

Mr. Broach was born in Florence, SC the son of the late David and Cora Oliver Broach.  He  was one of the best farm equipment mechanics in the area.

He was married to the late Carrie Louise Morris Broach.

Surviving are a son, Marion Broach; daughter, Patricia (Tommy) King; three sisters, Dorothy Evans, Frances Erxleben, Margaret (Jessie) Wilkes; eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a son, Jerry Wayne Broach and a sister, Ebbie Coleman.
