Timmonsville, SC – Margie Rogers Kirby, 86, long time resident of Timmonsville left this home to go to her eternal rest this morning, Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Palmetto Street Church of God.  Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. before the service at the church.

Mrs. Kirby was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Edward and Louise Kea Rogers.  She was a member of Palmetto Street Church of God.  She was a delightful lady that loved her children and grandchildren.  She will be missed by family and friends.

Margie was married to the late Roland T. Kirby.

Surviving are two sons; Ronnie (Lesley) Kirby, Mitchell Kirby; daughter, Barbara (Mickey) Ward; sister, Janice (Charles) Gibbs; grandchildren, Anthony Ward and his fiance' (Courtney), Garrett (Madeline) Kirby, Dana (Drew) Lusk, Kelsey Kirby, Kirby (Logan) Hall and great-grandchildren, Caden and William. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Renee Kirby Register, brother, Jimmy Rogers and sister Edna Rae Dennis

The family would like to thank the Agape Hospice Staff for the care given to Mrs. Kirby during this time.
