Hartsville- Margaret Lynch Harrell, 81, died after an illness at the McLeod Hospice House on Feb. 8, 2017.

A funeral service will be Friday, February 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville. Visitation was held on Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harrell was born in Olanta, SC, the daughter of the late Hoyt and Lizzie Strickland Lynch. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Margaret was the owner of the Day Care Center before retiring.

She was married to the late Harry Harrell.

Surviving are a son, Patrick (Mary) Harrell, Florence; two daughters, Gwen (Frankie) Moore, Hartsville, Harriett (Dan) "Beau" Shealy, Florence; three brothers, Gene (Candy) Lynch, Timmonsville, Phillip Lynch, Randy (Gail) Lynch all of Florence; a sister-in-law, Lillie Lynch; Eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Lynch and Buck Lynch.
