Timmonsville- Marcia Ritter Eslinger, 60, died at the McLeod Hospice House, Sunday April 17, 2016.

A memorial service will be Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Peniel Baptist Church. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Marcia was the daughter of the late Jack Bernard, Sr. and Betty Mims Ritter. She was a graduate of Lander College. Marcia was a Registered Nurse, very dedicated professionally and personally for more than 20 years at McLeod Hospital. Marcia worked in the trauma unit as a personal assistant to Dr. Mark Reynolds, served as a Nursing Administration Supervisor, she was involved in the start of the " Share the Help" program at McLeod's; a Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church, and worked with Habitat for Humanity.

Surviving are her husband, Tommy Eslinger, of Timmonsville; daughter, Julie Ann (Rob) Lyons, Lugoff; sister, Patty Gonzales, Greenville; grandchildren, Landon and Mason Lyons; nephews, Thomas and Shawn. She leaves special friends, Cathy Farley, Matthew and Jonathan Anderson, Debbie and Dave. She is preceded in death by a sister, Susan Payton and brother, Tommy Ritter.
