Florence - Lynn Morris Croshaw, 75, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, in a local hospital.

A memorial service will be today (Friday) May 27, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Dr. Croshaw was born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, the son of the late Robert E. Croshaw and his step-mother, Evelyn Croshaw, Burlington, New Jersey. At age 5, he was lovingly cared for by his grandparents, John Philip and Elizabeth Croshaw. He was a member of Dawsey United Methodist Church. Lynn had been a member of the Florence Evening Lions Club for 30 years. He served terms as President and Treasurer. He was inducted into the South Carolina Lions Hall of Fame. He retired in 2004 as Professor Emeritus from Francis Marion University.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Audrey P. Croshaw, Florence; two sons, Dr. Randal Lee ( Kimberly) Croshaw, Murrells Inlet, Kevin John (Kelly) Croshaw, Florence; a daughter, Deborah (Tyler) Bledsoe, Irmo, SC; sisters, Lorraine Woods and Lynnie Hice; brothers, Bobby Croshaw, Rick Croshaw; grandchildren, Matthew, Lane, Jack, Wells, Kellin and Kadin Croshaw, Neve and Harrison Bledsoe.
