Florence, SC – Lucille Perdue Harper, 79, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville. The family will have a time of visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. before the service at the Funeral Home.

Lucille was born in Cheraw, SC, the daughter of the late John Henry and Cora Lee Irby Perdue. She was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church of Darlington and a Lady Imp with the Pee Dee Shrine Club. She was a Home Health Aide for many years.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Edward A. Harper; two daughters, Patricia H. (Danny Hawks) McIntyre, Terry Ann Harper; three brothers, John A. (Shirley) Perdue, James E. Perdue, Curtis A. Perdue; a sister, Annie Lee Perdue and her grandchildren, Tamara M. Ingle, Kelsi L. Harper and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Beatrice P. Shepard and Sylvia P. Eaddy and one brother, Howard "Frank" Perdue.
