Florence, SC – Lowery Mangum, 83, passed away on Thursday, December  2, 2021.

A memorial service will be Thursday, December  9, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Quinby Baptist Church.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mr. Mangum was born in Chesterfield County, the son of the late Herman and Nell Clark Mangum.   He served his country in the US Navy.  Lowery was an Auto Mechanic until his retirement.

Surviving are; his daughter, Detia (Joe) Richardson; twin sister, Lila (Charles) Skinner and Carolyn (Jimmy) Kirkley; two grandsons, Josiah Richardson and Isaiah Richardson;  his companion and special friend, Martha Brunson.  He is preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Autry, and three brothers, Herman "Buster", Rudolph, and Donald Mangum.
