Florence, SC – Lorine Tedder Montrose, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021.

Graveside services will be Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Cemetery in Timmonsville.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mrs. Montrose was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Clarence Tedder and the late Bertha Evans Tedder.  She was one of the oldest Charter members of First Free Will Baptist Church of Florence.

Surviving are her husband of 71 years, W.A. Montrose; three sons, Al (Sybil) Montrose, "Shot" (Becky) Montrose, Stephen (Stephanie) Montrose; daughter, Lynn (Gene) Sports; sister, Carine Banks; her five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.   She is preceded in death by a beloved granddaughter, Amy Lee Montrose Miles; brothers, Roosevelt, Larue, Kelly and sisters, Magdalene, Thelma, Nell, Mildred and Louise.
