Loretta Sox Green, 58, passed away in a Charleston Hospital on Friday evening, August 9, 2024.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m.  The family will have a burial at Byrd Cemetery at a later time.

Loretta was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Archie W. Sox and the late Gayle Graham Evans.   She worked with LTM General Contractors as a Tool Room Attendant.  She loved her family and the outdoors.  She loved to fish.  She had a contagious laugh.   Loretta attended Friendship Methodist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Debbie (Brian) Faircloth; son, Phillip "Coty" Stricklen; brother, Archie W. "Bubba" Sox; sister, Wendy McKinley; and the light of her life her grandchildren, Brianna, Leila, Bo and Jacob Faircloth, Coty and Audrey Stricklen. Loretta is survived also by her special and caring significant guy of 19 years, Steve Rosenbaum.
