L. Earl Vause

Timmonsville – Lloyd Earl Vause, 78, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 in a local hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, Timmonsville. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery.Visitation was held on Monday evening at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mr. Vause was born in Florence County, the son of the late Jarrott T. and Bessie Hicks Vause. He was a machine mechanic for Sonoco Products before retiring with 30 years of service. Earl was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church and the E. Kirby Sunday School Class.

He was married to the late Shirley Dean Welch Vause.

Survivors are two sons, Craig (Kim) Vause, Joey (Mary Lynn) Vause all of Timmonsville; two brothers, Ted (Lou) Vause, Julian (Yvonne) Vause all of Timmonsville; grandchildren, Amber Cottingham, Lauren (Tyler) Urqhuart, April Vause, Melanie Vause and two great-grandchildren, Kayden Parker and Anna Carsyn Urqhuart.

The family would like to "Thank" Barbara Taylor who was a special friend and caregiver.
