Linda Marie Stokes, 87, passed away May 28, 2025 in a local nursing center.

Born in Timmonsville, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Rona Rogers Waldrop. She attended Timmonsville schools and worked in healthcare at various locations including the Presbyterian Home.

Surviving are: her daughter, Belinda (Watson) Anderson; two sons, Wayne (Geraldine) Anderson, and John (Renee) Anderson; Grandchildren, Jamie Anderson, Justin Anderson, Angie Cottingham, Jonathon Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Dain Anderson, Wendy Mobley, Tracy Mobley; Great-Grandchildren, Adilyn Anderson, Keenan Cottingham, Mariah Cottingham, Jonathon Cottingham, Kaya Perry, Dailyn Mincey, Jonathon Mincey; her brother, Ricky Waldrop; and her brother in-law, Carlton Howell.

Mrs. Stokes was preceded in death by her husband John Anderson, Sr. and then by her husband Leroy Stokes; her daughter, Janet Anderson, her son Ronnie Anderson, two sisters, Rachel Cox and Beth Howell; two brothers, Buddy Waldrop and Albert Waldrop.
