Lamar, SC – Lester Freeman, 86, passed away on Saturday, February  20, 2021.

A graveside service will be Monday, February  22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lamar Memorial Cemetery, Lamar.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.  You are asked to wear your mask and social distancing will be observed.

Lester was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Thomas J. and Martha Mancille Freeman.  He was an auto mechanic until he retired.

Surviving are his wife, Nyoka Hendricks Freeman; daughter, Christa F. Allen and his grandchildren, Angela  Danielle ( Brandon) Mendiola, Christopher Allen,  Alex Allen, and Krystal LeAnn (Trey) Tisdale and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Martha F. Manson, sister, Dorothy Freeman and son-in-law, Dewey Allen.
