Florence, SC – Leslie "Les" Archie Jackson, 47, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.   The family will have a time of visitation from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson was born in Jacksonville, NC, the son of the late James Herbert and Francetta Jordan Jackson.  Les was an ASC certified  Welder/Mechanic.  He coached baseball and softball in the Florence area for many years.

Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Lonna LoPrete Jackson; two daughters, Angelica Jackson, Lexy Jayme Jackson; brother, James Jackson; sisters, Elizabeth (Wylie) Taylor, Loretta (Bobby) Heffinger, Jayme Powers and a host of nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Bob Jackson.
