Florence, SC – Lena Powell Fraiser, 77, went to her Heavenly home of Thursday, February 9, 2023.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Darlington Memory Gardens, E. Bobo Newsome Highway.  The family will speak to those attending the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fraiser was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Dudley L Powell, Sr. and Lena Wallace Powell.  She was a member of Effingham Church of God and very active in many of the programs in the church.  Lena retired from General Electric in the Medical Equipment Division.

Surviving are; her husband, Ernest Lee Frasier; son, Chris (Jeanie) Barr; daughter, Beth (Michael) Poston, brothers, Jimmy Powell, Bubba (Pearl) Powell; sisters, Ethelen Bernacki, Laura Smith, her seven grandchildren and seven great-grand-children.  She is preceded in death by a son, Danny Barr and a sister, Mary Furtick.
