Laurie Bruce Register, 88, went to sleep today Monday, April 29, 2023 and woke up in his new Heavenly home.

Graveside services will be Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Timmonsville, SC.   The family will speak to those attending after the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Register was born in Timmonsville, SC, the son of the late Laurie Foster and Valorie White Register.  Before retiring and the plant closing he worked with L-Tec (Esab) as a Systems Co-ordinator.

He enjoyed being outdoors especially fishing.  The photo of him shows the competition fish he caught in Lake Marion and describes how he caught his prize fish.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Walsh, sons, Derrick Lynn (Kim) Register, Darby Wayne Register; brother, Otis (Patti) Register; seven grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a son, Laurie Randall Register, brother, Howard Register, sister, Bobbie Jean Estell.
