Florence, SC – Larry J. Meyer, 69, passed away on Saturday, Oct.28, 2017 at the McLeod Hospice House.

A graveside service was held at Florence Memorial Gardens on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Meyer was born in White Plains, New York, the son of the late Robert and Jeannie Purdy Meyer. Larry was a maintenance Support Clerk with the US Postal Service. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Theresa Provost Meyer; three sons, Tommy (Megan) Meyer, Florence, Michael (Holly) Meyer, Myrtle Beach, Brian Meyer, Wilmington, NC; a sister, Jeannie Stead, White Plains, NY and a grandchild, Matthew Meyer.

Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 W. Palmetto Street, Florence assisted the family with arrangements.
