Larry Hickman, 73, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 31st, 2025. Born in Clarendon Co., SC, he was a son of the late Melvin Hickman and the late Annie Mae Cooke.

Larry was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. He retired from Vulcraft after 28 years of service as an electrician. He enjoyed fishing and working in his garden. He was the greatest Papa ever.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen Hoffman Hickman; daughters, Lisa Pitts (Alan) and Kimberly Singleton (Jody); son, Adam Hickman (Nickie); brothers, Jimbo Hickman, Thad DuBose, Michael DuBose; sisters, Debbie Ann Antwine, Betty Jo Lee; 10 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy, Harry, and Jerry Hickman. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home in Florence, SC. A funeral service to celebrate Larry's life will be held at First Free Will Baptist Church in Florence, SC on Sunday, January 4th, 2026, from 10:00 am. A burial will be held on Monday in Florence Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm.
