Larry Dennis Anderson, 61, of Timmonsville, went to be with the LORD on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

A graveside service will be Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville. A drop-in visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Due to COVID 19 social distancing will be observed.

Larry was born in Timmonsville, the son of the late Johnnie "Sam" Anderson and the late Emily Dean Oliver Anderson. He was an employee of HRS Textiles for 25 years and later was employed with Southern Felt for 13 years. Larry was an active deacon at Liberty Baptist Church where he loved and served the LORD.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Gloria Kelly Anderson; two sons, Brandon (Marah) Anderson and Jonathan (Liz) Anderson; one sister, Jean (Alvin) Broach; two brothers, Johnny "Buddy" (Kaye) Anderson and Julian (Cindy) Anderson. He leaves to cherish his memories , his seven grandchildren; Landon, Brook, Owen, Rylie and Jaiden Anderson, Rheagan Foxworth and Marshall Miles; and several nieces and nephews.
