Liston "Keith" Knotts, Sr. 82, passed away early in  the morning of Thursday, July 11, 2024.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 before the service at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be at a later time.

Mr. Knotts was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Louie Knotts and the late Gladys Nichols Knotts.  He worked as a Meat Market Manager.  Keith enjoyed spending time with his family, working in the garden, riding around on his tractor and fishing.  Being outdoors was a favorite past time.  He attended Emmanuel Baptist Church of Hartsville.

He was married to the love of his life, Jeannie Petropol Knotts for 62 years; surviving are son, Liston Keith Knotts, Jr and wife Stephanie; daughter, Kimberly B. Johnson and husband Monty; two brothers, Randy (Cynde) Knotts, Kenny (Margaret) Knotts; sister, Judy (Mac) Atkinson; grandchildren, Stephanie, Ben, Monty, Jr, Alaina and three great-grandchildren, Mike, Taylor and Haven.  He is preceded in death by three sisters, Vera Lee Bell, Clarice McCoy and Jean Grooms
