Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Cox, 67, on a Saturday afternoon in October, heard his Lord say, "Come home" and he replied, "10-4".

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation following the service at the funeral home.

Born in Horry County (Aynor), he was the son of the late Geoge and Ila Mae Floyd Cox.

He was a gentleman of many abilities  he was an excellent carpenter.  His working career also consisted of driving long distance trucks.  Other interest were fishing and especially spending time with his family

Surviving is his wife, Daisy Guyton Cox of 47 years; son, James (Amber) Cox; daughter, Katie (Eric) Chittum; brothers, Danny (Carol) Cox, Mitchell (Donna) Cox; and the special grandchildren, MaKayla Chittum, Kenley Cox, Brailey Cox, Tristan Cox, Braeson Carraway, Kolten Hill.
