Timmonsville, SC – Kenneth Everett Moore, Sr.,68, died on Nov. 4, 2015 after an illness.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Florence National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 at the funeral home before the service.

Mr. Moore was born in Florence, SC, the son of the late James Elbert and Evelyn Turner Moore. He was a Diesel Mechanic before retiring. He attended Faith Holiness Church in Scranton. Kenneth served his country in the US Army during the Viet Nam Conflict.

Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Linda McElveen Moore, Timmonsville; a son, Kenneth E.Moore,Jr and his wife Bree, Florence; a brother Troy (Barbara) Moore, Darlington; three sisters, Gracie (Buck) Bullard, McBee, Miriam (Maurice) Little, Florence, Betty (Dee) Fields, Lamar; grandchildren, Kristen Tilton, Allie Moore both of Florence and Joel "Joey" Lamb, III,of the home. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Lamb.
