Florence, SC – Kenneth Lawrence Evans, 92, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019.

A graveside service will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Florence Memorial Gardens, Florence.  The family will speak to those attending after the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Evans was born in Florence County, the son of the late J. Roy and Ouida McDaniel Evans.  He served his country in the US Navy.   He was a member of Quinby United Methodist Church.  Kenneth worked for Sears Roebuck Company for many years as an Appliance Repairman. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Frankie Linton Evans; son, Ken (Carolyn) Evans, Florence; sister, Eula Mae Swan and his grandchild, Ludie (Jerry) Moore and a great-grandchild, Kathleen Moore.  He is preceded in death by brothers, Otley, Reamer, Randolph, Bill and Dan Evans.
