Myrtle Beach, SC – Kenneth D. Bryant, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Jan 16, 2023.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville. The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 12:00 noon at the funeral Home.

Mr. Bryant was born in Marion County, the son of the late Rembert and Verlie Ruth Martin Bryant.  He served his country in the US Army.  Ken worked in the Insurance Industry until his retirement as a Salesman.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Glenda Fountain Bryant; son, Kenneth Duncan Bryant, Jr; daughters, Rhonda Bryant Blackmon, Teresa Bryant (Ronald) Giordano; grand-children, Sergeant Bryant Edward (Sarai) Blackmon, Heather Giordano (Jason) Gragg, Veronica Giordano (Chris) Williams, Melia Giordano (Stephen) Austin, Peyton Gage Bryant, Cecacala Shae (PJ) Buhles, Haley Bryant ,Kenneth "Trey" Duncan  (Michelle) Bryant, III and twelve great-grandchildren, He is preceded in death by a son, Barry Shaun Bryant.
