Timmonsville, SC – Katherline "Kathy" Matthews Middleton, 71, peacefully passed  away on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 with her family at her bedside.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Effingham Presbyterian Church in Effingham.  The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church before the service.  Burial will follow at Effingham Cemetery.

Kathy was born in Florence County, the daughter of Horace and Claudia Morton Matthews.  She was a member of Effingham Presbyterian Church.  Kathy was the Secretary at West Florence High School before retiring.

Surviving are; her husband of 48 years and high school sweetheart, Sandy Middleton; son, Thomas (Jordyn) Middleton; two daughters, Jennifer (Lloyd) Morris, Beth (Billy) Hunt; sister, Ann (Larry) Pate; grandchildren, Noah Morris, Jacob Morris, Emma Hunt and her newest soon-to be grand-daughter, Eleanor Middleton.
