Timmonsville- Kathryn Boan Anderson 55, died Monday evening August 3, 2015 in a local hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Peniel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Born in Darlington County, she was the daughter of the late Archie, Sr. and Katherine Lyles Boan. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church. Kathy was a very talented seamstress, she loved doing craft work and sharing her talents with friends and family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; just sitting and talking with her mother-in-law "Mema" Jeanette Anderson and a special aunt,Lois Horne.

Surviving are her husband, Russell B. Anderson, Timmonsville; son, R. Barrett (Allyson) Anderson, Jr, Florence; a daughter, Deana (Michael) McKay, Timmonsville; brother, Archie Boan,Jr,Florence; sister, Melissa B.(Mike) Crosby, Columbia and five grandchildren, Jessica, Dylan and Caitlin McKay,Chase and Emmy Anderson.

Memorials may be made to the Peniel Baptist Church Bldg Fund, 4186 Twin Church Rd, Timmonsville, SC 29161.
