Timmonsville- Kathlyn McKay "Kitty" Anderson, 87, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at her residence.

A funeral service will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service at the Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Timmonsville, SC., the daughter of the late Dudley A. and Vivian Galloway McKay. She was a retired bank teller with Pee Dee State Bank. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church.

Kitty was married to the late Billy Robert Anderson.

She is survived by three sons, Billy R."Butch" (Carol) Anderson, Jr, Timmonsville, Michael A. (Vicki) Anderson, Kent McKay (Amy) Anderson all of Florence; a daughter, Katrina A. (Charlie) Sacoco, Greenwood, SC; one sister, Sondra (Everette) Hayes, Florence and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a brother,Wayne "Pete" McKay and two sisters, Julia Weatherly and Geraldine Vasser.
