Timmonsville, SC – Katherine Revell Wilson, 88, died in Carolinas Hospital System.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Pisgah United Methodist Church, Florence, SC. The family will have a time of visitation from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville.

Katherine was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late Albert Bryce and Katherine Stephens Revell. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Katherine was retired from the medical office of Dr. Margaret Hoffmeyer as an LPN.

She was the wife of the late Charles M. Wilson, Jr.

Surviving are; a son, Steve (Sherry) Wilson, Summerville, SC; a sister, Julia Joyner, Florence and sister-in-law , Betty (Charles) Dennis, Bucksport, SC ; fourteen nephews and twelve nieces. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Kathi Wilson Hinds; brothers, Marion Revell and G.W. Revell; sister, Eleanor Harrell.

The family would like to thank the staff of Carolinas Hospital for the care given to Katherine during this time.
