Lamar, SC – Judy Allen Currie, 70 passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence.  Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will speak to those attending from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the service at the Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Diane Edwards, 6402 Hidden Valley Lane, Florence, SC.

Judy was born in Lake City, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Robert and Mable Campbell Allen.  She was a Nurse for twenty-five years, she bowled in local and state tournaments  for fourteen years both of which she was very proud.  She loved NFL football, the Kansas City Chiefs, NASCAR Racing especially # 48 Jimmy Johnson, her favorite. She loved Jesus and tried to do His will in her life.

Judy was married to the late David Currie.

Judy is survived by her two children, which she says is her greatest accomplishment, Robbie (Dana) Hill, Ricky (Deana) Hill; three sisters, Gerry (Darrell) Hickson, Dianne (Greg) Edwards, Sandra (Gary) Miller; three grandchildren, River Hill, Amber (Bobby) McKenzie, Bridgette Parker; three great-grandchildren, Braeson  Carraway, Kolten Hill, and Liam Hill; many nieces, nephews and cousins; two very special  friends, Dianne Knight and Earl Richardson.  She is preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Lynn Hill.
