Judith Marie Gillies, 83, passed away at McLeod Hospice House, on Thursday, January 16, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Born in Dayton, Ohio.  she was the daughter of the late Earl O. Schipper and Mary Vibber Hugjak.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Family was everything to her and she LOVED spending time with her family.  She loved watching soap operas, playing bingo, playing cards, crocheting and bowling.

Surviving are two daughters, Addy (Mike) Lee, Betty Lovell; three brothers, Richard Schipper, Donald (Sandy) Schipper, Earl (Carol); eight grandchildren, Allen Lee, Matthew Lee, Jonathan Lee, Stevie Lovell, Ryan Lovell, Mary Symonds Sole, Melissa Symonds, Thomas Symonds, III; seventeen great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Thomas B, Symonds, II,  sisters, Marlene (Frank) Severino, Connie Schipper and sister-in-law, Treva Schipper.  She is preceded in death by her second husband, William Gillies.

The family will have a memorial service at a later time.
