Juanita W. Turner

Florence- Juanita Walker Turner, 90, died Feb. 6, 2015 at the McLeod Hospice House peacefully with her children at her bedside.

Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 3:00 before the service at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Turner was born in Tifton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Lonnie A. Sr., and Julia Taylor Walker. Juanita worked at Hickam Air Force base in Oahu, Hawaii in the Civil Service. It was there that she met and married the late Clifford Leo Turner.

She was a long-standing member of Southside Baptist Church. It was there that she continued to follow her Savior, Jesus Christ. Along with her dedication to the Lord, she had a very deep love for her family. Her absence from this life will be greatly felt by all of those who loved and treasured her.

Surviving are four sons, Leo Darby Turner, Lugoff, Bobby (Linda) Turner, Timmonsville, David (Elizabeth) Turner, Florence, Mark (Angelia), Oak Ridge, NC; two daughters, Carol (Robbie) Isgett, Darlington, Nancy (Jimmy) Turner, Florence; a brother, Lonnie Walker, Warner Robbins, GA and thirteen (13) grandchildren and nineteen (19)great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the home of Bobby and Linda Turner, 411 Tolson Rd., Timmonsville, SC.
