Effingham, SC - Josephine Matthews Baker, 85, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16th, at the Church of God of Prophecy, 426 S. Church Street, Florence, SC.   Burial will follow the service at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. before the service in the church.

Mrs. Baker was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Fairy and Verno Broach Matthews.  She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving are a son, Robert H. Miles; three daughters, Joyce (David) Burr, Rita Galloway, Debra Yarborough; sister, Bobbie (Robert) Mattson and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
