Timmonsville, SC – Joseph Marion Langston, 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will have a time of  visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Church.

Mr. Langston was born in Florence County, the son of  James Ervin and Leta Smith Langston.  He was a long distance truck driver for Overnite Trucking for 35 years before retiring.  He attended Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.

He was first married to the late Patricia Langston, second wife was the late Charlette Kirby Langston.

Surviving are sons, Stephen Langston, Jason Langston; five grandchildren, Joseph (Catherine) Langston, Kayden and Karah Langston, Adam and Sara Langston.  He is preceded in death by a son, Joey Langston, brothers Ervin and Elijah Langston, and grandson, Justin Langston.
