Scranton, SC – Johnny Earl Lee, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from injuries in an accident.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Olanta, SC.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 2:00 in the church before the service.

Johnny was born in Charleston, SC, the son of the late J.D. and Virginia Murrell Lee.

He retired from the Natural Resource Soil Conservation.  He also enjoyed farming at his family farm.  Johnny was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Heather (Timmy) Matthews, Cynthia (Billy) Leach, Tabetha (Jay) Cerceo; sister, Dianne (Buck) Baxley and his grandchildren, John Matthews, Ashlee Matthews, Bryce Leach, David Leach, McKinlee Leach, James Cerceo, Genevieve Cerceo; his niece, Tammy (Steve) Massie and two great nieces, Kayla Massie and Kimberlin Massie.
