Florence, SC – John C. Wise, 56, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018.

John was born in Charleston, West Virginia, the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth McDowall Wise.  He served in the US Air Force.    He was a private pilot.

Surviving are his wife Sarah Beth Harrell Wise;   two daughters, Leah W. (Chris) Wessinger, Caitlin Wise; three brothers, Chilton (Debbie) Wise, Chris (Frances) Wise, Pete (Grace) Wise;five sisters, Martha (Jay) Callan, Liz (Brad) Snodgrass, Laurie (Greg) Florence, Victoria Downs, and Mary (Kirk) Overfield; two grandchildren, Marlee and Mason Wessinger.  He preceded in death by a daughter,Morgan Wise.
