John Ellebe Skipper, II, 49, went to his eternal home on Friday, August 15, 2025.

A visitation will be Thursday evening August 21, 2025 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mr. Skipper was born in Florence, SC, the son of Sallie Rolland Skipper and the late John E. Skipper, Sr.  He was a graduate of West Florence High School. In his free time you could find him spending time at the ball field supporting his son, Bose and his daughter Hannah.  There was nothing more he loved in this world than being their dad.  If he was not there, he could be found fishing, hanging out at the beach or spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his mother, Sallie Skipper; son Bose (Ashton) Skipper; sister, Heidi (Chuck) Oates and his niece, Madelyn Oates.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Hannah Skipper.
