John Michael Isgett, 70, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in a local Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday morning, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation following the service.  A private burial will take place at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville.

Mr. Isgett was born in Dearborn, Michigan, the son of the late Muldrow Chapman "M.C." and Edna Mae Howell Isgett.   Before retiring he was employed with Honda of Timmonsville as a Security Guard.  John loved Jesus most of all.  He loved his family and was a giver and enjoyed helping others.

Surviving are; a sister, Sherry Hyman; brother, Stan Isgett; nieces, Gina Altman, Amanda Griffin; nephews, Josh Hyman, Paul (Brittany) Mixon, Mason (Mary) Altman, Walker Altman (Bell Bryant).  He is preceded in death by a brother, M.C.Isgett, III; a sister, Holly Mixon; brothers-in-law, Ricky Mixon and Karl Hyman; sister-in-law, Renee' Isgett.
