John Robert Dickerman

Timmonsville, SC - John Robert Dickerman, 69, died after a brief illness on November 29, 2015.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the National Cemetery in Florence, SC.

Mr. Dickerman was born in Roanoke, VA., the son of Dorothy Winkelman. He served his country in the US Marines during the Vietnam era. He was a Hydraulic Mechanic and worked as an Aircraft Mechanic. After his service career he worked in Commercial Construction as a superintendent.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Rhodes Dickerman, Timmonsville; daughters, Angela Barber, Greenville, NC, Shawn (Dan) McGee, Savannah, GA, Mary Anne (Kenneth) Bowen,Benton, KY, Casey (Byron) Harris-Turner, Washington, NC; one brother who preceded him in death, Danny Ogden, Orange Springs, FL(Wanda) two sisters, Linda Ogden, Paducah, KY, Becky Harlin, Gainesville, Florida and fifteen grandchildren (Joshua, Sydney, Justin, Brandon, Matthew, Lacey, Diana, Maddie, Harrison, Jackson, Keyan, Sean, Karlie, Hayden & Karsyn) You are invited to sign the guestbook at www.laytonandersonfh.com
