Darlington, SC – John Edwin Anderson, 85, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at First Church of God, Darlington, SC.  A private burial will be at Grove Hill Cemetery. The family will speak to those attending  following the service in the church.

Mr. Anderson was born in Darlington, the son of the late John King and Essie Lee Anderson.  He worked with Dixie Cup until his retirement.

John Edwin was married to the late Clara Jean Kinsey Anderson.

Surviving are; a son, Ronnie (Carla) Anderson; daughters, Amy (Jack) Dearhart, Kim Weaver and his grandchildren, Chelsi Anderson, Brittni Anderson, Abby (Joseph) Touchberry, Sarah Weaver, Jack Dearhart, IV, Carter Dearhart and great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Ben Touchberry.
