Florence, SC- Joan Swanson Fedeles, 86, died in a local hospice facility Tuesday, September 15, 2015.

Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1201 Cherokee Rd, Florence, SC. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fedeles was born in Monaca, PA, the daughter of the late John A and Mary Delle Wagner Swanson. Joan attended Grove City College in Grove City, PA. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church of Florence.

Surviving are her loving husband of 65 years, Paul Edward Fedeles, Florence; son, David Edward Fedeles, St. Croix, Virgin Islands and New York City; daughter, Janet Fedeles, Atlanta, GA; sister, Mary Ann (Thomas) Powell, Cleveland, Ohio. She is preceded in death by a sister, Jane Mitchell.
