Florence - Jimmy David Turner, 60 died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 after a long illness.

A graveside service will be Friday, Nov. 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. before the service.

Jimmy was born in Florence, the son of David Monroe and Shirley Skipper Turner. He was a welder and carpenter.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Turner Guyton, Florence; a brother, Danny (Darlene) Turner; a sister, Janice (Benny) Galloway, all of Florence. He is preceded in death by a sister, Patty Owens.
