Coward, SC – Jimmy Dean Carter, 58, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021.

There will be a service for family and friends at Unity Christian Fellowship Cemetery ,Wednesday March 3, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.

Mr. Carter was born in Florence County, the son of the late David L. Carter, Sr. and Iveleen Port Carter.  He was a logger with Carter Logging service.

Surviving are his daughter,  Jennifer Carter (Phillip) Lloyd, step-children, James McAlister, Shane (Ashton) McAlister;  step-daughter, Laura (Jason) Kirven; brothers, Randy L. Carter, David L. Carter, Jr; sisters, Darlene (Don) Strickland, Brenda (Willie) Anderson, Rhonda Lynn (Ricky) Frye and a number of grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald W. Carter and Johnny L. Carter.
