Florence, SC – James Troy Bramlett, 76, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral  Home.  Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery, Timmonsville. The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.

Jimmy was born in Lee County, the son of the late Roy and Mary Logan Bramlett.

He retired from ESAB as Planner.  He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing, football, NASCAR racing and spending time with his family and grandchildren that affectionately called him, "PAPA".

Surviving are; his beloved wife of 57 years, Paula Stewart Bramlett; son, James Tyler Bramlett; daughter, Tonya B. (Joe) Adams; two sisters, Betty Pigate, Dianne (GC) Hatchell and his precious grandchildren, Skylar (Alexis) Adams, Zachary Adams, Mackenzie Bramlett and a great grandchild, Finley Rose; sisters-in-law, Louise, Josey, Joyce and many nieces and nephews and special friends.  He is preceded in death by a sister, Lottie and brothers, "Sonny", Ernest, Luther and a grandchild, Cassady Rose.
