Timmonsville – James Sherrill "Jimmy" Anderson, 72, died at the McLeod Hospice House on Saturday, April 23, 2016 after a long illness.

Services will be Monday, April 25, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church, Timmonsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence.

Mr. Anderson was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Ralph Gordon and Addie Mae Weaver Anderson. He was retired with 40 years of service from Pee Dee Electric as Vice President of Operations and Maintenance. Jimmy served in the National Guard for six years. He was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Donna Sue Casper Anderson, Timmonsville; a son, Ken ( Lisa) Anderson, Timmonsville; a daughter, Pam(Robert) Warr, Lamar; a sister, Nell Parker, Lake Norman, North Carolina and four grandchildren, Alex, Morgan and Austin Warr and Kelly Anderson.

Memorials may be made to Lake Swamp Baptist Church Building Fund, 6558 Oates Hwy,Timmonsville, SC or to the charity of one's choice.
